At Baseball Equipment Shop, we stand behind our gear like we stand behind home plate. As former players ourselves, we understand that sometimes equipment needs to be returned or exchanged. Our policy is designed to be as straightforward as a fastball down the middle.
Our Return Policy
We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most items. To be eligible for a return:
- Item must be unused and in the same condition as received
- Item must be in original packaging with all tags attached
- Proof of purchase is required
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Batting gloves (including Bruce Bolt models)
- Batter’s elbow and leg guards
- Catcher’s gear
- Clearance items (marked as such)
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Follow these steps like you’d follow through on your swing:
- Contact us within 15 days of delivery at [email protected] with your order number
- Wait for approval – our player-support team will respond within 24 hours
- Package your item securely in original packaging
- Ship it back to our Fremont warehouse (return shipping is at customer’s expense)
- Receive confirmation when we process your return

Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Timing: Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days
- Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Shipping costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable
Exchanges
Need a different size bat or glove? We’ll handle exchanges like a perfect double play:
- Follow the same return process above
- Clearly indicate you’d like an exchange and specify the replacement item
- We’ll ship the new item once we receive your return
- You’ll only be charged for any price difference
